Fly, Drive, Stay Baggage Insurance - New Personal Baggage Insurance offering

Introducing another first in SA car rental, our new ‘fly, drive, stay’ baggage insurance will cover baggage 24 hours before the rental and 24 hours after the rental.

This means that you will be covered as follows:

From the moment you leave your home (if within the 24-hour period prior to rental starting)
Till the time that you return home (if within the last 24-hour period after the rental has terminated)
Your baggage will be covered when you are flying within the 24-hour period in South Africa
Your baggage will be covered in your hotel room

You may select the cover at reservation time or at the kiosk, for R29 rental per day (incl VAT), for which you can claim up to a maximum value of R15,000 (incl VAT) in the event of loss of or damage to baggage 24 hours before the rental and 24 hours after the rental - terms and conditions apply. If Fly, Drive, Stay Baggage Insurance is requested at the kiosk on collection of the vehicle, the cover will only begin at that time – hence the 24 hours leading up to the rental will not apply.

Europcar is mandated to sell Fly, Drive, Stay Baggage Insurance to its customers on behalf of Regent Insurance. In terms of insurance regulations, we can only assist with the basic features of the product.
