At Europcar we know how valuable your time is and we won’t be wasting even a second of it. This is why we would like to remind you to visit our new kiosk at the King Shaka International Airport (KSIA) from 1 May 2010.
All flights into Durban up to and including Friday 30 April 2010 will operate from Durban Airport. From 1 May 2010, all flights will officially operate out of the new airport, which is also where you will find our new Durban kiosk.
We will continue to operate from Durban International Airport until 30 April 2010, and would like to remind you that should you rent a vehicle during this transitional period, to return your vehicle to the new airport as of 1 May 2010.
KSIA is approximately 55km from the old Durban International Airport and the drive, without traffic, should be in the region of 40 minutes. We encourage you to allow for extra travel time to get to and from the new airport. We have GPS units available and recommend them for customers unfamiliar with the area. We have provided a link to a map for easy reference.
As with any development, some growing pains will be experienced, but we will do everything possible to provide fast and efficient service.
Europcar looks forward to welcoming customers to our brand new kiosk, with a sleek and speedy transactional turnaround time.

On 31 May 2009, Imperial Car Rental came full circle in re-launching itself as a global player. We are now Europcar South Africa, and remain a Proudly South African Imperial group company.
Our name has changed but our 30 year legacy of personal service remains and will only get stronger. We also continue to pursue our operational and service excellence targets, in order to make car rental easy for you, our customers. In addition to this, we are now more environmentally friendly and our customers have access to Europcar’s global offering of over 220,000 vehicles in 162 countries.
